Academy of Art

The Academy of Art is an institution in Berlin where members can meet, exchange and discuss ideas. Since 1699, the institute has served as an advisory board to the government. In addition, the Academy of Art has several other goals, namely the representation and promotion of Germany in the field of art and culture, the promotion of art in the community and of national cultural developments, and the preservation of the national cultural heritage.
