At Artpeers, acquiring art is accessible and affordable because the auctioning takes place exclusively online. Our main motivation is to make participating in auctions accessible for both (starting) buyers and sellers, as well as professional collectors and dealers.

Artpeers.nl was founded in 2010 by Arthur Brouwers from his passion for art and the internet. It started small: a temporary storage, one employee, and a simple website. Artpeers has since grown into one of the largest online auction platforms in the Netherlands and also in Belgium, with a professional team working behind the scenes in Amstelveen. Artpeers was named the most popular website and best website of the year in the art category in both 2018 and 2020. By now, more than 500,000 items have been auctioned and more than 150,000 members use Artpeers.
Since early 2021, Artpeers has been active in Germany under the name Artpeers.de en since 2023 in France Artpeers.fr en Austria Artpeers.at
