Continue silently was an association of visual artists in Brussels. The association was not active during the First World War. The aim of Doe stil continues was to promote the arts and literature. During the first exhibitions of the association avant-garde was excluded, while the second phase was more avant-garde oriented. In fact, the 1918 exhibition was so successful that two series had to be made.
