Movimento Spaziale

Movimento Spaziale, also called Spazialism, is an art movement from Italy that was founded by the Italian Lucio Fontana in 1947. Fontana came up with a manifesto in which he set out his ideas. He called for an art that used science and technology, such as neon light, radio and television. Colour, sound, space, movement and time synthesized into a new kind of art. From this came the first installations.
