Pappas - 1973 - Vernis-mou, line etching and aquatint Anneke Kuyper Born in The Hague in 1942. Between 1958-1963 she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Breda; three years of drawing and painting, two years of copper engraving on mythological and biblical themes. Then, from 1963-1964, she studied she received an exchange grant for the Higher Institute for Fine Arts in Antwerp, the Graphics department; copper engraving, under the direction of Prof. Jos Hendrickx. and between 1964-1967 she received a grant for the Rijksacademie voor Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam, Graphics department; etching and copper engraving, under the direction of Prof. Kuno Brinks. Later she will teach at the Famous Artist School in Monte Carlo, lecture in graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Tilburg, at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in 's-Hertogenbosch and a teaching position in Graphics and Painting at the University of Fine Arts in Utrecht. She makes study trips to Greece, Turkey and North Africa. She has exhibitions in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Poland, Australia and Russia. She has won several prizes, including the Uriot prize for graphics in 1996 and the first prize for intaglio in 1985. the International Competition for Ex Libris in St. Niklaas (Belgium).
