Beautiful work by the famous Genk painter Armand Maclot (1877-1959) From 1898 onwards, Maclot studied at the Higher Institute for Fine Arts in Antwerp under the guidance of Joseph Coosemans (1828-1904). On the advice of Coosemans, Maclot came to Genk for the first time in 1899. He also visited Tervuren during this period.
