Zeer expressieve zeefdruk van de Belgische kunstenaar Godfried Vervisch op dik papier. Met potlood gesigneerd, gedateerd (92) en genummerd (15/68). In uitstekende conditie.
Afmetingen: 76cm x 56cm (blad), 60cm x 44cm (beeld)
Werk moet bij voorkeur worden opgehaald in Diemen (vlakbij het kantoor van Kunstveiling in Amsterdam Z-O). Als dat niet lukt, dan kan het werk aangetekend en goed verpakt verstuurd worden op kosten van de koper.

Godfried Vervisch (Ieper, 1930-2014)
Vervisch deed zijn humaniorastudies in Ieper maar was een autodidact als kunstenaar. Aanvankelijk schilderde hij landschappen en stillevens, maar ontwikkelde een eigen stijl met expressionistische invloeden, vooral geënt op Soutine en Kokoschka. Hij ging meer figuren en naakten schilderen, verhalende taferelen gebaseerd op eigen ervaringen en zelfportretten. Vervisch woonde nogal teruggetrokken in het West-Vlaamse Heuvelland.
