Kuno Brinks was born in Bussum on 24 March 1908 and died in Amsterdam on 9 October 1992. Educated at the National Institute for the Training of Drawing Teachers 1924-1928 and the Academy of Fine Arts in Amsterdam 1929-1931. Pupil of, among others, Huib Luns.
Later a teacher at the Academy of Fine Arts in Amsterdam from 1944 to 1973.
In 1933 he received the 1st prize for graphic art, the Prix de Rome, and in 1959 the Arti medal.
Graphic artist, illustrator, draftsman and designer of figure representations, landscapes, nudes, portraits and cityscapes.
