Strolling through a gallery of Jamie Lluch's work is to walk through a magical world surrounded by dreams of half-imagined moments. I am a child again. I smile. I feel.
He has an acute awareness of the traditions of colour, texture, light & composition in fine art. His images are more akin to painting than photography and his post production skills reveal a sensitivity and touch beyond the camera's reach. Perhaps living in Spain, a country with a history of passionate and masterly painting, has infused his work.
