Wiebe A van der Zee - Screen printing, cows in the water.

Wiebe grows up until he is 7 years old in Sneek, where he attends the Eben Haêzer school. Lego is his favorite toy and outside he likes to play soccer on the small field in front of his parents' house at Harmen Sytstrastraat 17.
After living in Harderwijk for half a year, the family moves to Leeuwarden, where Wiebe finishes primary school. He finds drawing a fun activity.

At the Tjerk Walles Mavo, Wiebe quickly stands out because of his creative spirit. His drawings and paintings are allowed to be exhibited in the hallway of the school. His favorite teacher is Mr. Sol, a crafts teacher.
As a painter of landscapes, Wiebe regularly encountered cows that took away the view of his subject. On a holiday in Gorsel, Wiebe discovered the power of cows. As a boy, Wiebe was already fascinated by these impressive animals, which was a good starting point. At uncle Auke's, he stood behind the cows in the warm stable, as Wiebe remembered. A group of ruminating red cows are painted in watercolour. It must have been around 1986 that Wiebe rediscovered cows.
