Unique printing technique Van der Vet was a true purist, who developed his own hand-manipulated stencil technique, which many described as 'painting with ink.' This technique requires precision and patience, with often more than 30 printing passes per print. The result is an original work of art that cannot be compared to modern reproductions or giclees.


Recognition and appreciation Wout van der Vet has received several awards, including the title Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau and the EVO art & culture prize. His work has been recognized internationally, including a prestigious award in Tokyo for a silkscreen printed by him.
