Remmers was educated from 1970 to 1975 at the St. Joost Academy of Art and Design in Den Bosch.
Lives and works in Den Bosch.
Ingrid Remmers' first works mainly consist of oil chalk drawings, in which the material is used optimally. Later she also started working with materials such as adhesive tape and alkyd paint, to deepen form and rhythm. Color and form constantly influence each other in Remmers' work, in which the surface is divided in balance.
